Combined with a background in psychology, Barbara has 20 years experience as a successful corporate executive. Barbara is a global citizen and has worked extensively with different cultures in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. Barbara is a frequent speaker and author of several published articles. She has twice received the Working Women’s Association of Los Angeles “Medal of Excellence” for her outstanding contribution to business.

Barbara Perry has 25 years experience consulting in the areas of organizational change, culture, innovation and learning. Her ethnographic team-based process helps organizations identify new product and marketing possibilities. Her recent book, Putting Hope to Work, was named by Harvard Business Review as one of twenty important ideas that leaders should have on their radar screens for 2007. Based on years of observation and ethnographic research, it is the first book to explore hope as a principle of leadership, and it reflects Barbara’s belief that beyond all the tools and techniques, the essential foundation for all endeavors is the human spirit.
